Most of us have jewelry we no longer wear: a ring that has fallen out of style, a broken chain, or pieces passed down from a grandparent. Recommissioning turns them into one new piece made for you, reusing your own gold, platinum and gemstones so the memories carry on.

What can be recommissioned?
Almost anything made from precious metal or set with real stones:
- Inherited rings, brooches and earrings you would not wear as they are
- An engagement ring you want to update, or join to its wedding band
- Broken chains, odd earrings and damaged pieces
- Loose diamonds and gemstones from old settings

Why recommission rather than buy new?
You keep what matters. A grandmother’s diamond or a parent’s wedding ring becomes part of something you wear every day, instead of staying in a drawer.
Your metal still has value. Old gold and platinum can be refined and used again in the new piece, or taken in part exchange against its cost, so you pay less than you would for an all-new design.
The result is one of a kind. Each design starts from your own stones, so nobody else will have the same piece. You can also add to it, for example by upgrading to a larger center diamond.
How it works
- Send us photos. Message us on WhatsApp with pictures of your jewelry and any designs you like. We will tell you what can be reused.
- Agree the design and price. We design your new piece with you and give you a fixed price before anything is made.
- Post your jewelry to us. When you approve the design, we send you a secure postal pack. Your stones are checked before they are reset.
- We make your new piece. It is usually ready 3–4 weeks after you approve the design, and delivered to your door.
